Sorting by localised date

Hi,

I have problem with right sorting on column where is localised date. May be it is bug, maybe I don't understand how to configure grid.

There is example http://sandbox.jipas.cz/jqgrid/test.php .

I want use dot separator and show date in cell by format d.m.Y and use {datatype: local}. Once load and user could sort by date column without reloading data. But problem is that, dates are sorted by number of the day in month. Not by all date (year, month, day).

Could anyone help me with this problem?

I think you will need to set datefmt option in colModel. Check the docs:
