jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

When a grid has sortableRows enabled with:

$("#jqGridTable").jqGrid('sortableRows',{
                    stop: function( event, ui ) {
...
                        });
                    }

and one enters editMode by adding a row or editing a selected row one can not focus the text boxes by clicking into them.
I think this has to do with binding the mouse events to the sortable stuf and not resetting it when entering edit mode....

Am I right? Is there a workaround?
