Tony,
There is an issue when showing and hiding columns and using
$('#list').editRow(rowNum); then doing a
$("#list").restoreRow(rowNum); or reloading the grid.
The rows that I am showing and hiding take up the same amount of space. Double checked that.
When I either save or cancel editing the row the horiziontal scroll bar appears. The scroll bar shouldn't appear but the larger issue is when trying to scroll to the right it jitters or shakes back and forth. I think it has a problem with the vertical scroll bar.
When I use a smaller set of data and the vertical scroll bar is absent the horiziontal bar still appears after saving or canceling a row edit. BUT when scrolling to the right it doesn't jitter anymore, but there is a space where the vertical scroll bar should be.
I'm using IE6 and tried on FF2 both are the same.
I'm using jqgrid v3.2.1 and I also tried to use 3.2.4 on IE and still no luck. I thought I saw a blog on here about this bug but I searched and couldn't find it.
thanks Brad

I've also noticed that if the vertical scroll bars are present they are placed over the last column.
To get around this i've added another row to the jqgrid definition with a colName: '' and a ColModel:{name: '', index: '', width: 10 …
This allows the last row to properly be displayed. Using the horizontal scroll bar still causes the grid to jitter.
Thanks again, jqgrid is awesome.

Hello,
All can be done very eaasy if we make a body div with 20px greater,
but in this case the grid does not apper good as design point of view.
(this solve the jitter problem too)

Tony
