The right click does not trigger the beforeSelectROw and rather goes straight into the onSelectRow code. I need a way to cancel edits when a user right-clicks also.

Hello,
In onSelectRow (which is used from you) we pass 3 parameters
onSelectRow ( rowid, status, event)
If you want to cancel the edit if the right button is clicked you can do
onSelectRow : function( rowid, status, event )
{
if( event.which === 3) { // this is right clicked mose button 1 is left
return false;
} else {
// contiue with your code
}
}
