reordering of columnChooser not works in IE8

I'm using jqGrid 4.1.1 with jquery-1.6.1.

reordering of columnChooser seems to be not working in IE8.

line 160 in grid.jqueryui.js

$('option[selected]',select).each(function() { perm.push(parseInt(this.value)) });

The selector "[selected]" in this line is not working in IE8.

I changed this line to

$('option:selected',select).each(function() { perm.push(parseInt(this.value)) });

and it works fine.

(sorry for strange English….. Embarassed )

Hello,

I found IE8 in compatibility view mode works fine.

This bug occurs when IE8 is in "pure" IE8 mode.

It is sad that this nasty bug persist in jqGrid 4.1.2 🙁

I changed code according to your post. Now it works in IE in both modes 😉
