In jqGrid 3.5.3, when looking at the last page of a grid, the record range isn't properly reported. For example, one sees:
View 601 - 800 of 694
The last number of the range (800 in the example above) should be set to the total number of rows (694 in the example above).
Also, in English it would be best to word this as "Viewing 601-694 of 694."

Check what you return from server or at last could you provide a test case with data returned from server?

I'm embarassed! I was building my xml in an odd way (by parsing csv data from a txt file) and had an error in my logic where I wasn't checking if the last row had been reached. I always try to check these things before wasting someone's time with a worthless bug report, but in this case I missed my own mistake.
