Problem can be reproduced on the demo site using IE7.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to: http://www.trirand.com/blog/jq.....qgrid.html

Navigate to the "New in version 3.7" single search demo page.

2. Open up the search grid.

3. Change the columns dropdown to any other field.

4. Try to change the second dropdown (operations) to another search filter.

You will not be able to select anything on that dropdown.

If you hit reset - the operations dropdown is now selectable -- but I still cannot search for any other column other than the preselected one.

Any thoughts?

Have ran into similar problems with IE8 from latest stable source on 4.1.2 and with the demo download source.  I do not have trouble with the Demo Pages in IE8; though, the drowndown text is offset after changing the search field.  I do not have any trouble with firefox, so the problem does appear to be an IE issue.  Did stumble across a link on another forum describing similar problem: http://stackoverflow.com/quest.....search-fie .  I did try version 3.8 with IE8 and the problem was not there.

Regardless, it does appear to be a bug in either jquery or jqrid with IE8.  Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.

Thanks! I will take a look at the post. I noticed you mentioned IE 8. For us IE 8 is working just fine.

This is only occurring in IE7 for me. I could also verify that before 3.7 it was not occurring.

I was hoping that trirand would release a fix to this. I don't want to change any of those source files and risk losing that over an upgrade.
