Hello,
I found there is a problem with kayboard navigation (excell-like navigation through cells with cursor keys) after upgrading to 4.33.
It seems to be related to new jQuery version 1.7.2 used in jqGrid-4.33.
When I include old version of jQuery (1.5.2), navigation start to work, but there is a lot of messages in console:
18event.layerX and event.layerY are broken and deprecated in WebKit. They will be removed from the engine in the near future.
Is it known issue ? Is there solution for this bug?

Problem with Webkit engine is one thing – I understand (I hope) the problem. The other problem I will try explain with example:
jQGrid 1.4.4 with jQuery 1.7.2 :
Click to select one cell and than try to navigate with cursor keys – nothing happens.
jQGrid 1.4.4 with jQuery 1.6.1 :

Click to select one cell and than try to navigate with cursor keys – we can nawigate with keys trough all cells.
New jQGrid is issued with jQuery1.7.2. So, do I have to downgrade jQuery to get nawigation to work?
Or I just missed some option to set ?

Tested on Chrome (17.0.963.79) & IE 8

Hi,
We do have the exact same problem after upgrading from jQuery 1.6.2 to 1.7.2.
The keyboard navigation arrow key Up/Down are not working.to move selected row up or down
We are using Firefox 13 & Chrome
PS: By the way, the "link2" above is the same URL as "link1", need to change to 1.6.1 in the URL

Hello,
Your php script generates a error:
Use of undefined constant integer - assumed 'integer' in ...model.php on line 88
So I can not see the difference. I will test it in my server.

Hello Tony,
I fixed model.php code on my server.
Unfortunately, keyboard navigation with fresh downloaded jqGrid code doesn't work

HEllo,
You should tell me that you use navigation when cellEdit is on
Now fixed in cellEdit too. Also the prvevious fix was when bindKeys method.
Please let me know if everthing is OK.
