Hi
we are using Jqgrid for the edit purpose and we have one of the column as dropdown. when i check this in IE 8 everything works fine. but incase of the firefox/chrome that dropdown does not have "Selected" attribute set for the selected item of the dropdown and because of that whenever we try to save it default to the 0 index and on save no value return and it throws an error.
Here is the snapshot of the code.
colNames: ['RoleUID', 'Rolename', 'IsActiveRole'],
colModel:
[
{ name: 'RoleUID', index: RoleUID, editrules: { number: true} },
{ name: 'RoleName', index: 'Rolename', width: 160, edittype: 'select', editable: true},
{ name: 'IsActiveRole', index: 'IsActiveRole', edittype: 'select', editable: true, editoptions: { value: "1:Yes;0:No"} }
]
// this is the code to populate the Rolename value dynamically.
loadComplete: function() {
var RoleNameList = FillRoleNames();
jQuery("#dtCharges").setColProp('RoleName', { editoptions: { value: RoleNameList} });
},
Please help me as I am trying to find this issue but really not successful till now. How can we fix this for the FF and chrome?
