jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

I've found a possible bug after running the Google Closure Compiler against the jqGrid JS files (3.6.2):

inside grid.custom.js: line ~382 (formFill function)

jquery.jqGrid.js:3034: WARNING - Suspicious code. This code lacks side-effects. Is there a bug?
                                        if(!this.stype){this.stype=='text';}

I think it should be a fail-safe assignment if this.stype is undefined:

if(!this.stype){this.stype='text';}
