This patch escapes html entities. Currently, if you have an & in the grid, the inputfield shows: &
In grid.celledit.js:
Around line 70:
Instead of:
tmp = $(cc).html().replace(/\\ \\;/ig,'');
use:
tmp = $(cc).text();
I changed the replace into:
if (tmp.charCodeAt(0) == 160) { tmp = tmp.substring(1); }
I'm not sure why the replace is neccesary, but I had this annoying blank character in my edit fields.
Also, my edit ajax call returns the new value for a cell (for example, it formats currency, or changes into lowecase). I have:
if (stat == 'success') {
v2 = result.responseText;
v2 = $('<div/>').text(v2).html();

This is set becouse of IE. When the cell is empty in IE there is no border
on empty cells.

Tony
