I put the pager div before the table div. Based upon the following documentation this should work - correct?
http://www.trirand.com/jqgridw.....first_grid
pager:
"defines that we want to use a pager bar to navigate through the records. This must be a valid html element; in our example we gave the div the id of “pager”, but any name is acceptable. Note that the Navigation layer (the “pager” div) can be positioned anywhere you want, determined by your html; in our example we specified that the pager will appear after the Body layer."
However the pager still appears at the bottom after the table.

Hello,
Sorry forgot to update the docs. Currently the pager (instead that they is somewhere in the document) is placed above the grid in all cases. There is a plan to have a separate method – pagerbar, where you can put the pager where you want.
Thanks
Best Regards
Tony
P.S. The documentation is fixed now

So wait does this mean that you cannot have the pager display above the grid? I know you can put the pager code above the grid in the actual code, but it still displays at the bottom of the grid. Cant we make it so if we put the pager div above the grid code the pager displays above the grid and if we put it below the grid code, it displays below it? THANKS
