jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hi Tony,

I use grouping well

  

$("#chJqgGroup").change(function(){
        var opt    = window.xx,
            vl    = $(this).val();
        if(vl) {
            if(vl == 'clear') {
                $(opt.id).jqGrid('groupingRemove', true);
            }
            else {
                $(opt.id).jqGrid('groupingGroupBy',vl);
            }
          
        }
    });

but found if the values of grouping-col contain NULL will cause jqGrid hangup (always show 'Loading..'). Would it be possible that grouping into one group-set if value is null or empty and other  values which not empty grouping by normal .  

jqGrid v1.81
