Navkeys click triggers rows selection

Hello,

I'm using formedit together with the multiselect option.

My problem is that when the navkeys are clicked in the form popup, it triggers the selection of rows on the grid.

Is there a way to prevent that?

I already prevented rows being selected by clicking directly on them with this piece of code :

"onCellSelect": function (rowid, iCol, cellcontent, e) { if (iCol > 1) { myGrid.jqGrid('setSelection', rowid, false); } }

For the record, this how I solved my problem (in both edit and view options of formedit) :

"afterclickPgButtons": function (whichbutton, formid, rowid) {
myGrid.jqGrid('setSelection', rowid, false);

}

This will put the row in whatever selection state it was before.

I keep having an erratic behavior on this.

Now it's when a record is submitted to server through formedit. After the completion of the operation (successfull or not), the row that is being edited is selected in the grid. If it was already selected, its state is not changing (still selected), so there is no way this time for me to now if I have to select or unselect it.
