Hi Tony
JQgrid is a real joy for someone whose javascript skills are basic to say the least - thanks very much!
Problem:multiple select with formatter:select in celledit in both alpha 2,3 joins up the text strings(and values) without a comma delimiter when exiting the select. So reentering the select means the previous selections are lost. Works OK if only 1 selection. Rowedit(inline edit) works fine.
Using the following:
datatype: "local",
{name:'ship',index:'ship', width:90, editable: true,edittype:"select",formatter:'select', editoptions:{ multiple:true,size:4,value:"1:FedEx;2:InTime;3:TNT;4:ARAMEX"}},
cellEdit: true,
cellsubmit: 'clientArray',
The problem appears to be in gridcelledit.js lines 123,124. I circumvented this by changing the 2 lines but since my javascript is so basic I will not include my convoluted code to fix it.
Looking forward to the final 3.5 release.
