Hi,.

I have read through the doumentation, but could not find anything.

Is there a method so that I can call the add/edit/delete buttons present in the navgrid externally from a link or a button

Thanks,

Kris

Sorry about posting this in the wrong place.

krisreddy,

Have a look at the wiki .

In short - if you need a link to open a form to edit a row, just make it like this:

<a href"javascript:jQuery('#grid_id').editGridRow( rowid, {properties} );">link text</a>

Where:
#grid_id - the id attribute of the grid holder (<div>),
rowid - the id of the row to be edited
  tip: you can find currently selected one with jQuery('#grid_id').getGridParam('selrow');
properties - you can just copy them from .navGrid()

If you need further help, just ask Smile
