I have viewed the jqgrid demo http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid.....qgrid.html. Each time I click a link ,the memory grows a lot.Event after I close a tab,the memory still won't go down  (I tested with IE9).

Is there any memory leak issue in jqgrid, or is there any method to avoid this.

BTW, from the demo ,I found jqgrid is very good and easy to use, thanks!

Hello,

Could you please let us know how you measure the memory grow.

In principle the browser should make your own garbage collection.

We do not know the OS and exectley the IE version.

Regards

Tony

Hello,

       Thanks for your reply. I tested it in Win7 with IE 9. I open the task manager, and watch the memory use of  IE when I browser jqGrid demo http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid.....qgrid.html.

Hi! Got a similar problem here.

I'm testing with Win7+Chrome and measuring memory with Chrome task manager and profiler.

Whenever I need to cicle trough a code like this, the grid is destroyed but the memory is never released.

$('#grid_container > #grid').jqGrid('GridDestroy');

$('#grid_container').html('<table id="grid"></table><div id="pager"></div>');

$('#grid_container > #grid').jqGrid({ ... });

Is there anything else that needs to be done to free the memory after destroying the grid (and before creating a new one)???
