I set this option in 3.6.4
jQuery.jgrid.del = {caption: "Delete?", msg: "Delete record?", bSubmit: "Delete", bCancel: "Cancel", processData: "Processing..."};
The message is not displayed, I look into the firebug and I saw this
<td style="white-space: pre;" class="delmsg">undefined</td>

Hello,
This is the wrong way IMHO to do this.
In which place of the code you put this?
1. You should add this code after you load the lang file.
2. It is better to use extend
