W/O A custom toolbar item the javascript generated is this (ignore quotes):
... "jQuery('#Grid').getGridParam('searchDialogOptions') );"
When A custom toolbar item is added to the controller:
ordersGrid.ToolBarSettings.Add(new JQGridToolBarButton
{
Text = "",
ToolTip = "Action",
ButtonIcon = "ui-icon-image",
Position = ToolBarButtonPosition.Last,
OnClick = "customButtonClicked"
};
Result (ignore opening and ending quotes):
... "jQuery('#Grid').getGridParam('searchDialogOptions') );.navButtonAdd('#Grid_pager',{"buttonicon":"ui-icon-image","title":"Add Folder Action","caption":" ","position":"last",onClickButton:function() { customButtonClicked();" ...
The problem appears to be the ';' (HIGHLIGHTED IN RED) where the .navButtonAdd begins is not being removed so the commands can be linked. I've tried this with both 1.4.4 & 1.5.2, using jqGrid 4.0.
