Hi there,
This is the first time I post here... I've been playing with jqGrid for 2 weeks now, I have to say I'm very impressed! The 127 page documentation is very complete and helpful, thank you for the great work!
Back to topic, I'm currently having an issue... does anyone know if the event "afterInsertRow" still works in 3.8 beta?
My code looks like this:
$("#myGrid").jqGrid(
afterInsertRow : function (rowid, rowdata, rowelem) {
$("#myDebugDiv").html(rowid);
},
/* ... the rest ... */
);
The grid is displayed properly but myDebugDiv remains empty.
Any clue why?
Thanks!

Probebly you use gridview:true? I recommend you don't use afterInsertRow anytime. Instead of that you can do any changes in jqGeid inside of loadComplete event. You can use getDataIDs to get IDs of all rows from the jqGrid and make all changes which you need. The parameter gridview:true is good to use. Another way is usage of the custom formatter and custom unfrmatter. This way can allow you to produce any cell contain in the jqGris.
Best regards
Oleg
