In colModel name:"entity.Id" edit form could not work fine

Hi:

for example:

colModel:[
       {name:"entity.Id",index:'iid', width:100,editable:true,editoptions:{readonly:false,size:10}},
       {name:"entity.GroupId",index:'groupId',width:100,editable: true,editoptions:{size:10}},
       {name:"entity.CarID",index:'carID',width:90,editable:true,editoptions:{size:10}},
       {name:"entity.BuyDt",index:'buyDt', width:100, align:"right",editable:true,editoptions:{size:10}}
     ],

name: has "." letter, when navigate in edit form the record conten will not change.

p.s. I need to use "." letter for bean attribute mapping in struts 2.

I try to use "\\." escape , and it is not work too.

Hello,

column names can not be set this way, since JS thisnk this is a property,

but you can set the index and it will work - i.e.

{name:"CarID",index:'entity.carID',...

Thanks for ur answer!

Http Request Parameter name is according to column names.

I need to use parameter name like 'entity.carID' to mapping it to a bean

named 'entitiy' and set the bean's attribute 'carID' in Struts 2 FrameWork.
