Using version 3.5.3
When Multiselect is true the data row appears to be more narrow than the heading row.
This behavior occurs with colModel option hidden: true or false.
The columns line up well with Chrome.
I fixed the problem lining up columns and header in IE8 with an adjustment in ui.jqgrid.css as suggested on this forum but that grid was not setup as multiselect. It appears that fix does not help in this case.
