IE inserts over datastrings blank space

Hi Tony,

I need to show many records on one page (50, 100, 500, 1000).

However IE inserts over datastrings blank space. And table height increases.

How it can be corrected?

I'm using 3.5.3 (Date: 2009-09-06)

Check your code. In the head section you do not close a script tag properly

<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.contextmenu.js"> <------------- Close tag should be here

<script src="/jquery/jquery.form.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

However

The problem remained. I have localised it.
The problem consists in tag <meta http-equiv = “X-UA-Compatible” content = “IE=EmulateIE7″/>

This tag is necessary for job with GoogleMap.

You know how to solve the conflict?

Hello,

Something wrong maybe with the code.

If I open the Developer Tools in IE (debugger) I see that the entry grid code is set as attribute in the table)

1. Try to use jQuery document ready instead that you put the code at end of the document.

2. Remove all the attributes from the definition of table and pager - they are not needed anymore - like this

3. Remove any references to previous releases of jqGrid. - by example imgpath is not needed anymore.
