jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is a bug or by design, but even when you define in the colModel a certain column as key:true, no matter what is the name of the column, the column value will be sent to the server under the "id" key even though the column name is different.

For instance, assume the following colModel:

colModel: [{ name:"TheId", index: "TheId" ... ,editable: false, key: true ...}, ... ]

When I edit a row, and save it, the value of the row's TheId column will be sent to the server under "id".

Is this by design?
