Hidden Cols screw up the design

Well I am trying to hide some columns (the ID ones and other stuff i just don't want to show but i need it for hyperlink & more). When i hide a column, jqGrid just break it design, theres anyway to fix this without add sizes for the hidden columns?

Do not understand, please be a more specific. - Which version of jqGrid, browser and etc. Posting the code is recommended.
