Having problem with Resize and GridUnload

Hello,

I'm having a problem when I try to replace the grid using GridUnload and then try to resize.  The resize process doesn't work and the cursor (which changed for the resize) doesn't ever change back when I'm hovering over the grid.  The exact process is:

1.  Load code (js and php) for the grid.  Grid is displayed just fine.

2.  Resize the grid, works perfectly!

3.  Click on button to “refresh” the grid.  This does the GridUnload routine which also works perfectly.

4.  Reload the grid (which also works perfectly – data displayed, everything's exactly what I want).

5.  Try to resize the grid the cursor turns into the double arrow and won't resize and the double arrows won't go away.

A litte more information that I just disovered:  When I attempt to resize the grid after the GridUnload I am getting an error in Firebug.  However there's no line number, no real information, etc.  Just the standard:

uncaught exception: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [object Object]

I haven't looked at the code but I suspect that a link to the previous element was not cleared when I ran GridUnload.  If you can give me an idea of where to look (or a value to look for – I am using Firebug) I'd be more than happy to do so.

Thanks!

PhilM

Hello,

When we do unload we acctually create the grid again unbinding all events and etc.. After unloading and creating the grid again you should apply the resizing again.

Best Regards

Tony

I am running into the same issue and reapplying the gridResize does not correct the issue.

uncaught exception: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [object Object]

I have tried to call the gridresize in a function after reload, I have also tried it within the loadComplete callback and the error is still thrown.

Hello,

It will be good if you post the code, otherwise I could not help.

Best Regards

Tony,

I just downloaded the 3.6.2 version and it has solved this problem!  You're just too fast for me!

Thank you again for all your hard work.
