groupingRemove does not work unless groups are all expanded. This bug can be see on the demo page here:

http://www.trirand.com/blog/jq.....qgrid.html

View "Dynamically change grouping".

Collapse all groups.

Change drop-down to "Remove Grouping".

None of the nodes will be in grid anymore, but I would expect all of them.

Is there  a way to programmatically expand all groups to work around this until it is fixed?

Hello,

Thanks. The problem is fixed in GitHub.

In The mean time you can call groupingRemove with false parameter.

... jqGrid('groupingRemove',false);

Tony
