Hi,

A new bug has been introduced in the grouping feature of 3.8.1:

You have changed file grid.grouping.js - line 67 from

grp.sortnames[0].push($.trim(items[0]));

grp.sortnames[0].push($.trim(items[0].toString()));

but this way it creashes if items[0] is undefined: please add a js check on this.
