I use method 'editRow':

$("#grid").jqGrid("editRow", rowid, true);

and setFrozenColumns:

$("#grid").jqGrid("setFrozenColumns");

That way I can not change the frozen columns Frown

Method editGridRow:

$("#grid").jqGrid("editGridRow", rowid);

works well, but I want to use inline editing.

Thanks for the response, but 'reloadGrid' is not an option.

Hello Tony,

I saw the limitations, but also saw that some of them are fixed in the last version. Is there a way, to edit the frozen columns somehow?

Thanks,

Peter,

Veliko Tarnovo 🙂

Hello,

When using editRow this is not possible. I think the best way to edit row data when frozen property is on,  is to use the form editing.

Thank you for the replay. Is there any edit form into the grid (some prepared functionality) or I should use a custom outer form, like a popup?

Thanks a lot,

Peter.
