Hi,
When set Frozen column，at the same time use the following configuration :
colModel:[{...frozen:true}, {...frozen:true}, ... ],
sortable: true,
jQuery("#grid").jqGrid('setFrozenColumns');
Frozen Columns failure, The first column and a second column not fixed, this is a bug !!!
but if Do not add sortable: true attribute, The first column and a second column has no sort icon, Other not fixed list also had problems!!!
IN chrome browser, Frozen Columns And not fixed columns, Scroll the scroll bar appear wobble(Calculated Or so value), it's a Bad experience, Hope to repair!

To enable sort facility on frozen columns in grid put ‘sortable: true’ in colModel :
{ name: "note", width: 80, sortable: true, editable: false, search: false, frozen:true }
