Hallo Tony,
The current code of formatter: "actions" have one problem. It defines op variable with some values in the first line of the code and then later (see here) defines variable actop which will be used to set explicitly the options of inline editing functions. In the way the options defined for op variable will ovewrite the settings from $.jgrid.inlineEdit.
It seems to me that the simplest way to fix the problem will be to define op variable just as empty object:
In the case some options of the actop will be set as undefined, but the method $.extend will ignore such properties (at least in the current implementation of $.extend).
