I have upgraded to the new jquery 1.3 library and so far have only found 1 problem with jqgrid. Everywhere you have [@id^=jqg_] you need to delete the @ symbol. This is a depricated method when using this type of selection code.
Once I deleted all the @ symbols from the grid.base.js code the check all option for the grid worked just fine.

Thank you very much for this. I know about this and that some things are changed in 1.3 of jQuery. I will publish second beta when the 1.3.1 is ready.
