Hello,
I've just discovered a problem when using 2 jqGrid tables within a modal jQuery UI Dialog.
The problem is that the jQuery Dialog layout is somehow destroyed by the 2 jqGrid tables – when using only 1 jqGrid table it works without any problems.
… then the dialog does not open with the specified size, but is smaller and the content does not any more fit into the dialog but is displayed beyond the end of the dialog overlapping the bottom button pane of the dialog and reaches over the bottom end of the dialog somewhere outside the dialog.
The dialog is displayed damaged across several browsers (IE8, FF 3.6). The situation is getting more awful when using other controls inside the same table (e.g. placing other DIVs or TABLEs between the 2 grids (1 at the top of the dialog and 1 at the bottom)).
Does anyone have already tried using 2 jqGrid tables within one jQuery UI Dialog???
I'm thankful for any tips or suggestions to solve this problem.
I've put up a testpage but could not reproduce the problematic behaviour as described above.
http://jsfiddle.net/Jp7TM/1526.....ed/result/
... the dialog resizing does behave a bit strangly but not so bad as in my environment (1 difference: I'm using jQuery UI 1.8.9 and the testpage uses 1.8.7)
Kind regards,
Klaus.
