this isn't really a bug, but more of an annoyance : when using the setColumns method, i need my jqGrid to resize when columns-change is submitted.

I added the following lines to grid.setColumns.js :

on line 22, i changed "afterShowForm: null" into :

afterShowForm: null,

afterSubmitForm: null

then i added the folllowing at line 29 (now line 30)

var onAfterSubmit = typeof p.afterSubmitForm === 'function' ? true: false;

and finally after the FIRST "$("#"+IDs.themodal).jqmHide();", i added two lines :

if (onAfterSubmit)

p.afterSubmitForm($("#"+dtbl));

note : these two lines are in the submit-button-click-handler. There is no need to add them the cancel button handler, since nothing is changed there

while i was at it, I also extended the dialog box with checkbox labels, so you can click in a column NAME rather than only that little square box.

around line 45, change the line :

$(tbl).append("<tr><td ><input type='checkbox' id='col_" + this.p.colModel[i].name + "' class='cbox' value='T' " + ((this.p.colModel[i].hidden==undefined)?"checked":"") + "/>" + "<label for='col_" + this.p.colModel[i].name + "'>" + this.p.colNames[i] + "(" + this.p.colModel[i].name + ")</label></td></tr>");

(all i did was add a <label for='...'>...</label> with the id of checkbox.

Nothing fancy 🙂
