first , I am sorry post this topic on here .
I reread the document and found there already write
"The width of the grid is set only in pixels."
and I found the forum somebody have solve this problem by hack
<table id=”mygrid” class=”scroll”></table>
JS code:
jQuery(”#mygrid”).width(”99%”);
var w = jQuery(”#mygrid”).width();
jQuery(”#mygrid”).jqGrid({
…
width: w
…
});

Hello,
This is a initiall set and will not work if you enclose the grid whitin
other element - i.e. grid will not resize when you resize the element -
which I suppose do you want to do.
