jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

I'm using 3.7.2 and autowidth = true.

When the content is too large to fit into a containg div, the grid is spilling out.  When I set autowidth = false, and set width specifically, the grid is contained in the container exactly.

For example, I have a container div with width 800 and the grid content would take 1000, then with autowidth = true, the grid does size to 1000.  If I set autowidth = false, and set width = 800 in the initialization, then the whole thing will fit into 800.

Of course this does not happen on Firefox.
