I am using jqgrid. My compliments to Tony for such plugin. I have necessity to capture the events for Insert, Update and delete record. I have difficulty because, the event "afterComplete"  is activated only for insert and update; instead the event "gridComplete" only for insert and delete.  Perhaps such behavior is a bug. I apologize me for my poor  English, but I use an automatic translator. Thanks.

Hello,

I think you make a mistake between events in formediting and these for the grid. Please read carefull the documentation.

Regards

Tony

'It is evident that I have not expressed well my problem.  The event “afterComplete”, valid only for the form, is activated when click the key submit for the functions  insert and delete, but not for the update function. To overcome such problem, I capture the event “gridComplete” that  is activated when click the key submit for the update function.

'It is evident that I have resolved my problem, but the function connected to the events is activated 2 times for the functions insert and delete, and once for the update.

Thanks.

Antonio

Hello,

Not sure if this is a bug, but this event is called with setTimeout 500 ms.

So you should expect some problems here if you set reloadAfterSubmit : true.

This way the grid is triggered and  there is a big chance that afterComplete is executed on empty recordset in the grid. The event is usually used when reloadAfterSubmit is set to false.

Regards

Tony
