jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hello,

Trying to add a row in the middle of the grid by code, without using nav

im trying:

$('#tbl').jqGrid("addRow", {
                position:"before",
                addRowParams: { srcrowid: id } 
});

but i noticed in jquery code: (on addRow) 

$($t).jqGrid('addRowData', p.rowID, p.initdata, p.position);

rather than in the else:

$($t).jqGrid('editRow', p.rowID, p.addRowParams);
