On the document of Grid Methods, it seems the gridstate behave like the clicking oh header to collapse grid ?

but the grid doesn't collapse when I set gridstate as 'hidden'. ( I want the grid is collapsed before user click it)

Did I misunderstand the gridstate or it is a bug ?

btw, jqGrid is the most functional and lite plug-in of table I ever see.

Thank you Tony.

here is a sample, not very obvously.

I initial the grid with gridstate 'hidden'.

Only special is, I clicked the header twice then the grid was collapsed, but it should collapse at the first time I click it.

Sorry I think I misunderstand it.

I should use "hiddengrid" to collapse the grid before user click it

Hello,

Sorry the link does not work for me. In FireBug I see this:

jQuery("#FirstLoadedGridTable").setGridState is not a function

Please be a sure that you download all the needed modules. The method is in grid.custom.module

Best Regards

Tony
