Hi, really useful grid - thank you!

I believe there is a bug in the inlineEdit function.  I found it in 4.3.2, it behaves the same on the demo page (not sure what version is powering that).  Steps to reproduce:

1. Add a new row with "+".  Enter some data. Save it.

2. Add a second new row.  Save/Cancel icons remain inactive, and selection doesn't change to row you are editing.  At this point, you are kind of frozen because the grid is "confused" about whether you are editing or not, it appears.

I'm guessing a reload after each add would solve this, but that is not a great solution.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for looking into this.  The demo I am referring to:

/blog/jqgrid/jqgrid.html

- Row Editing (new)

   - Inline Navigator (new)

...and follow the steps above

Hello,

Thenks. The demo uses a old jqGrid version.

I have replaced it and it now is OK.

Please let me know if you have again problems.

Kind Regards

Tony

Hi Tony,

I notice that the demo is updated to 4.3.2, but the problem still exists.  However, some additional info: the problem as I described it seems to affect Chrome (I'm using ver 18.xxxxx), but not FF or IE.  But both FF and IE have what may be a related problem about the first added row remaining highlighted after you have added the SECOND row.

Hope this helps...
